Explore Mjolner in more detail
Your ally in fire and rescue. Designed for the toughest missions, Mjolner is a powerful unmanned ground vehicle built to support fire and rescue operations where it’s too dangerous for humans. Explore more details below and learn more about design, construction and options.
Equipped with a high-capacity electric TFT monitor capable of delivering up to 4700 L/min, this accessory gives Mjolner the fire-suppressing muscle to handle large-scale flame fronts. It’s mounted on the UGV platform so that teams can engage from a safe distance, with remote control to aim and regulate flow. With this accessory, Mjolner becomes a frontline asset in fire suppression rather than purely reconnaissance or logistics. The TFT Foam Nozzle attachment transforms the Mjolner’s monitor into a precision foam delivery system for high-risk fires involving fuel, chemicals or large surface areas.
From 0 to 4,700 l/min( at 16 bar)
This ventilator enables rapid smoke clearance or fresh-air supply in enclosed, hazardous or oxygen-deprived zones. Deploying the fan with Mjolner means smoke-filled tunnels, basements or collapsed structures can be ventilated remotely – reducing risk to personnel. It extends the UGV’s role from ‘seeing into the hazard’ to actively modifying the environment, making subsequent rescue or firefighting safer. The modular design means the fan module can be attached or removed depending on mission type – maximising the flexibility of the platform.
Up to 350 000 m³/h of airflow
The thermal camera accessory is mounted adjacent to the driving camera. This gives operators a “see-through-smoke” capability, allowing them to detect hotspots, locate victims or monitor fire progression even when visibility is zero. By integrating both thermal and standard camera feeds, Mjolner becomes a powerful situational-awareness tool in rescue, fire or inspection scenarios. This accessory significantly reduces the risk of “blind entry” by human teams – enabling pre-planning, guided intervention and safe remote operations.
With an effective range up to ~300 m
This accessory enables Mjolner to carry loads up to approximately 250 kg — enabling transport of equipment, materials or even evacuation of smaller casualties where terrain permits. Used in support or logistics roles, this module allows the UGV to lighten the burden on human crews by delivering tools, hoses, foam cans or other supplies into hazardous zones. It expands the vehicle’s usefulness from purely “seeing and fighting” to “moving and supporting” – especially valuable in large-scale incidents or industrial environments.
Up to approximately 250 kg
The plough accessory is designed to clear obstacles – it is adjustable both up/down and left/right, enabling Mjolner to push debris, clear rubble, or open paths in waste-terrain or post-incident zones. This capability supports rescue operations in collapsed structures, industrial sites or fire scenes where access is compromised. By mechanising the clearing task, the UGV reduces exposure of human teams to unstable or dangerous terrain, enabling safe access or extraction. Combined with other modules (camera, fan, monitor) it means Mjolner can first clear the path, then assess and act – making it a full-spectrum remote operative.

The Winch module equips the UGV with a hydraulic winch (e.g., Warn HY2000) and wire rope, allowing remote recovery, pulling or clearing of heavy loads or obstacles. This accessory expands the UGV’s capability into mechanical operations: retrieving vehicles, dragging debris, or stabilising loads in compromised environments. It’s indispensable in rescue or industrial-accident settings where vehicles or heavy objects pose a hazard and direct human intervention is too risky. The hydraulic mechanism ensures sufficient power and control for demanding tasks. As a remote-controlled tool, it allows the UGV to undertake tasks traditionally requiring human crews near danger – or delay deployment until conditions are safer. Enhances your team’s ability to handle complex incident geometry with less risk.
Hydraulic winch, Warn HY2000 and wire rope
The Rail System enables the UGV to traverse or deliver gear in tunnel networks, confined spaces or structurally complex environments. With this accessory, the UGV can safely navigate or deploy through constrained infrastructure (e.g., rail tunnels, sub-terranean passages, industrial galleries) where standard access is limited. It extends the operational terrain of Mjolner, making it suitable for underground, transit or mine-rescue tasks. Modular installation means the UGV retains its core capabilities while adapting for specialised access missions. Ideal for urban tunnel rescue or industrial complex internal logistics.
The Hose Wagon accessory equips the UGV with a reel/wagon carrying 300-600 m of firefighting hose. This enhances the flexibility of your incident response: the UGV can lay hose into hazardous zones unreachable or too dangerous for human entry, maintaining water/foam supply lines. It supports extended-duration operations, bridging supply into deep or remote locations while keeping human teams in safer zones. The modular hose deployment capability also allows the UGV to deliver hose into high-rise or confined-space scenarios where external access is difficult. By adding this module, the UGV becomes a logistical anchor in firefighting operations.

The transport wagon with equipment cage expands the UGV’s logistics capability, enabling safe and efficient transport of tools, firefighting equipment, rescue gear and other supplies.
Designed for operations in high-risk or hard-to-access areas, the wagon allows the UGV to carry equipment between the operational zone and a safe staging area without exposing personnel unnecessarily. The protective cage helps secure the load during transport, making the solution suitable for demanding rescue, firefighting and tactical support operations.
This accessory turns the UGV into a versatile remote logistics platform, supporting crews wherever equipment needs to be moved safely and efficiently.
The transport wagon for basket stretchers enables the UGV to support casualty evacuation from hazardous or difficult-to-access areas. The wagon is designed to transport a basket stretcher, allowing injured persons to be moved from the danger zone towards a safe area while reducing the need to expose rescue personnel. The UGV can also deliver an empty stretcher to the casualty location before supporting the evacuation. Combined with the UGV’s remote operation capability, the stretcher wagon provides a flexible solution for rescue scenarios where access is dangerous, difficult or physically demanding.
The dedicated trailer solution provides a safe, stable and easy method for transporting Mjolner to and from incident sites. Can be designed with a low-angle loading ramp and reinforced deck, it allows quick drive-on/drive-off deployment even in challenging terrain. Integrated tie-down points and track-lock fixtures secure Mjolner during transit, ensuring safe movement over long distances or rough roads.
On request we can build and design a closed trailer solution which allow storage of accessories such as monitors, fans, hoses or stretchers directly on the trailer. Built for emergency-response speed, the trailer ensures Mjolner can be mobilised rapidly and arrive mission-ready every time.

The Self-Protection System allows the UGV to create a remote-controlled water-spray perimeter around itself or protect material/human teams in proximity. Adding a defensive layer to operations.
The Autostart Function ensures continuous readiness: when battery condition or system state drops, the engine auto-starts to maintain mission–critical power and avoids downtime in high-risk scenarios.
The 8″ Tablet adds ergonomic, real-time display of driving and thermal-camera feeds, improving operator situational awareness and enabling more intuitive control.
